About Sam
Sam has been involved with photography since the mid 1950’s making images of his world from United Kingdom to the USA, Thailand, Australia and many of the South Seas Islands. Sam loves to offer affordable art for all to enjoy. This commitment comes from a comment made during a photo session he attended hosted by Ansel Adams. One participant asked, “Why do you not have limited editions of all your work”? He replied “I want my art to be seen by as many people as possible, not by an exclusive few”. This has always impressed me and I have adopted this philosophy for my work.
All prints are sold unframed so you can select framing to suit your décor and personal preferences. I spend a lot of time hiking and travelling to remote and difficult to get to locations, to bring to my clients unique images, which most will never have the opportunity to experience.
My Photos
With my photography, I aim to capture images, which celebrates the variety of life, to show the vibrant colors of the world. I am presently concentrating on the American West, with images of old buildings, scenery, waterfalls, artifacts, tools, Native American art and dwellings as well as from my travels around the world. My prints use high quality photographic papers and inks for long-term archival use. I love to be in nature and to be able to photograph unique and often remote scenes and areas.
I have a large range of print sizes including Large Panoramas of the Grand Canyon and other locations
The prints come in a range of sizes (custom sizes can be ordered).
