In the heat of the afternoon, this group of desert sheep is taking it easy with a slow stroll to their next grazing grounds. As always they are difficult to photograph, as they are extremely wary of people one false move and they are disappearing over the horizon. Built to withstand the heat of the summer at over 115 degrees (46 C) and the cold of winter -20 degrees (-30 C) these sheep live in some of the most arid and sparsely vegetated areas of the American west.
