Description

This cabin was built by Elijah Cutler Behunin to house his family; but only a year after it was built it was threatened by flooding, and was abandoned. It is only 16.6 by 13 feet, and contained a single room. He and his wife had 13 children, so most of the older sons slept in some natural holes in the rock face behind the cabin. It is the most complete settler cabin in the area.
