This is a magnificent natural bridge in in southern Utah. It spans a creek below; we can see the course of the creek by the trees growing around its life giving waters. In the desert almost all life depends on the proximity of reliable water supplies; so the plant life as well as animals and human travellers treasure these. The underside is lit by the setting sun, which gives a warm glow to highlight the form of the arch. Its span is 180 feet and is 106 feet high. These wonderful rock formations are found in the Utah deserts at many locations. There are many Native American dwellings found in this and other locations in the local area.
