With tools of the trade hung up and scattered around, this old blacksmith shop tells of times now passed where horse and carts were the preferred method of transportation. Work in these shops was hard and the immense heat from the furnaces used to weld and bend metal made the work areas almost unbearable. These locations were often the center of the towns and villages, as they would have served almost all of the community.
