Embracing Roots 45 x 30

This image is from deep in a rainforest; here a small depression in the top of a 6-foot high rock was all that was needed to grow this tree. The seed falls into a depression, which contains some soil blown there, by the wind, and when the rain falls it starts to germinate, tiny roots about the size of human hair. They then begin to creep down the rock until one finds soil. Soon after the first one embeds itself in the soil, many others spring forth and soon embrace the rock with many roots encircling the rock. Soon a tree begins to sprout and grows to full height, while using the rock as an anchor.
