This is a interesting rock face, it shows a series of different sedimentary layers; each identified by the colors of that layer. We can also see some of the softer layers as they have eroded much faster than the harder ones. We cam see that at one time the layers were connected, but have gradually eroded to a point where a gap exists between them. Wind, rain, ice, heat and cold will continue to provide the mechanisms to continue this process.
