This plateau forms some of the boundary between Queensland and New South Wales in Australia. It is about 2,400 feet in elevation with its highest peak at 4,715 feet, and provides an unique area among the rain forests of the area. From this point on a clear day we can see the ocean in the distance, it is part of a geological feature called the Great Diving Range, which isolates the inland desert areas from the costal ones. With high rainfall there are a number of dramatic waterfalls in this location.
