These light-colored rocks are situated in part of the Bryce National Park. The multitude of etchings carved into the rocks, speaks of eons of work by wind and rain, along with the heat of summer and the ice of winter to give us the image we are now presented with. Many layers of hard and soft rock have assisted in the work of defining the shapes and forms, which are left for us to admire.
