Unfortunately, this old building near the Red Desert Reserve has past its time for a revamp. Built by original settlers to the area, it has been home for generations, but with the march of time, and changing work needs, it now stands a token of times past. When this was built the settlers had no extra help, so they would grow crops and keep animals, yet at the same time build with stone and wood their own dwellings. This was truly an age of total self-reliance. With doctors often a days ride away, they also had to treat most wounds, injuries and ailments.
