Herding Sheep-UM 36 x 24

This petroglyph above the Santa Clara River shows a group of people herding sheep (although some believe it is a hunting party). It is on a ledge way above the riverbed, and stands as a reminder of activities now long forgotten. Because the images are chipped into the rock, they will outlast most other art forms. Many get amusement from the individual on the top right who seems to have been caught in the act of summersaulting.
