This beautifully formed bridge is part of the Natural Bridges National Monument. It is 220 feet high and the span is 268 feet. It is the largest in the park. It is not known what the bridge was originally called as the Indians called all bridges mah-vahtalk-tump, which translated is “Under the horses belly”. However, as horses are a reasonably recent addition to these lands, there is no record of any names given before this date.
